T!'inutes of the regular meeting; of December 17 , and the Special meeting of. December 22 , last , read and approved. 14r. Pottings work report and the report of the Clerk and the Police. Dept . read and filed. Resignation of the Police Judge and the Plumbing Inspector was read and upon motion accepted . The Iti4ayor apointed A. E. Evring Police Judge and A. S. Leeper Plumbing Inspector, which. apointrmments i,,ere approved by the Council . Mr. J. S. Czerney made application for a soft drink license and the same , upon motion , vras granted. Ordinance No . 527 , reorganizing the Fire Department , was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried unanimous- ly . The Mayor apointed C. G. Rotting Fire Chief, which apointment � via confirmed by the Council . Applications for members of the Fire Department were read as follows: R. L. Crause ,J. l'1. Shea, Chas . P. Sells , L. A. Parks , R. G. Tripp, Nels Rasmussen , James R. ZiClar, Forest H. Reynolds; , 11% P. Ni.tchell ,Ben York and L. H. Cavanaugh. Upon motion the following five men were approved as members of. the Fire Department: J. 1. Shea , L. A. Parks , Nels Rasmussen , L. II. Cavanaugh and Ben York. The bills of the Fire Department , pre ,ented in amount of $27.96 , were upon motion approved. Upon motion of Councilman 1.1oore it was ordered that a new up to date Code be purchased for the use of the City Clerk. Upon motion of Councilman Murker the Engineer was instructed to make an up to date map of the City , showing Water Lines , Sewer Lines, Fire Hydrants , Elevations , Angles & ect .
