Regular meeting of the Council; present Mayor Leppert and Councilmen
Boundy ,, Murker,, Morris , Moore , Marsh and- Wo o dley.
Minutes of September 4, .read and approved. Clerks report for month
of August read and filed.
Resolution ording sidewalk built , read and adopted as follows:
IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT , that it does
hereby declar its intention of improving a portion of the south side of
Ward street , and a portion of the north side of Gowe street , by- construc
ting a six foot sidewalk along that portion of said streets as follows:
On the North side of Gowe street , between Railroad and Central Avenue
abbutting on lot 14, Mock 10 , W.C. I.Co ' s First Addition to Kent , and on
the south ;side of Ward street , between State and Kennebeck Avenues , abbu
tting on lots 1 to• 11 inclusive , in block 13 , W.C.I .Co ' s First Addition
to Kent , and. doing such other work in conection therewith as may be nec-
essary , all in accordance with the 1iaws of 1915 relative to construction
of sidewalks bt resolution and notice.

Chief of Police , Grant , requested change of ordinances on Pool Hall
and Aupt Parking; -hater of Pool Hall Ordinance posponed for two weeks
and Auto Parking Ordinance refered to the St . Com. , Chief of Police and
City Attorney.
A-Tatter of Unsanitary buildings refered to the Health and Sewage Com,
and the Health Officer.
Upon motion the building next to - the alley , on the south side of
Gowe street , between First and Second Avenues , was declared condemned,
and notice ordered. sent to • the owners.
No further businesn appearing the meeting , upon motion, did then
adjurn.
