Kent , Washington, August 20, 1.923-
Regular meeting of the Council; present Mayor Leppert and Councilmen
Boundy, Murker, Morris , Moore , and Woodley; Councilman Hallock coming;
in later.
Minutes of the, meeting of August 6th. read and approved.
Committee on Fire Engin reported their investigations and the Clerk
was instructed to send the Co. a copy of the letter received from the
DIVISION OF MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS.
Committee on new furniture reported that they had purchased two desks
and two chairs for the office.
Upon motion of Councilman Woodley the City Engineer was instructed
to have the City Ball Sign put up on the east side of the hall.
Comunication from the Police Judge read, re guarding salary, action
posponed until next meeting.
Ordinance No.-.61-7 , providing for the improvement of certain streets
by sidewalking, read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and
carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present .

Matter of the renewal of the sidewalk on No . Central Avenue was ,upon
motion of Councilman Woodley left to the Street Committee , and the Clek
was requested to have blanks printed for notices and affidavits.
Matter of installing an oil burner was refered to the Building Com.

No further business appearing the meeting, upon motion, did then
adjurn.
