Dotting , for the moritTi of T,iay , was read and filed. A comunication from the Park Board ras read and the following resolu- tion pertaining; to the matter was read and adopted: THEREAS , the following described property , to-wit: Lots 3 , 4 2r 5, in Flock 9 , of 77ashington Central Improvement Companys First Addition to Kent , eras purchased and deed made and delivered to the City of Kent and payment therefor having been made XXXXMITMYNX by warrant issued on the Park Fund of the said City: AND WHEREAS it appears that said property is not suitable for the use of the City as a nark, without acquirinj other contiguous property , which the City can not acquire at a reasonable price: IT IS THEREFOR RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Kent , that the said property be sold , and the Park Board is T.ereby authorized to enter into an agreement of sale of tide same for an amount , not less than $800.00 , payment therefor to be made in cash. , on delivery of deed to the purchaser and satiffactory title insurance delivered. That the money arising from the sale of the said property be paid into the City Treasury and placed to the credit of the Park Fund. That upon the consumation of the said sale , the Mayor and the City Clerk be , and they are hereby authorized, on behalf of the City of Kent , to riiake and deliver a deed of conveyance of the same . Resolution No . 207-A, setting time for hearing on assmt . roll , Dist . No. 207 , read and adpoted as follows: -IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KE1T: That the 2nd . day of July , 1923 , at the hour of 8 o ' clock p at. m.. , t the Council Chambers in the City Hall , at Bent , 17ashington, be and the same is fixed as the time and place for hearing on the assessment roll for Improvement District No. 207 , for the improvement of the alley in Jef- fries Addition, between Gowe Street and V1illis Street and other unplated property, by placing a lateral sewer therein. That the City Clerk be and lie is hereby directed to publish in the official newspaper of the City of Kent , notice thereof as required by law and the ordinances of the said City.
