Regular meeting of the Council was held in the Council Chambers on the above date; present '�Iayou Leppert and Councilmen Hatt , 'Murker , Paden and Vtoodley .. 11inutes of the meeting; of February 1c) , read and ap�)roved. Clerks report and the report of the Chief of Police , for the month of February , read and filed. Upon_ motion of Councilman Naden the Engineer was impow- ered� to_ order a 12" valve for the large reservoir. A letter was read from Fairbanks , Moris & Co. , offering to buy the old scales for 75.00 , and upon motion the offer was accepted. Resolution, declaring; intention of improvement , was read and adopted as follows: It is resolved by the City Council of the City of Kent , in King County, State of Washin, ton, that. it do and it does hereby declare its inten- tion of improving a part of Crow and Willis streets , and the alley run- ing a part of. JXNXTJff*X Jeffries First Addition to Kent , begining at the north line of Crow street , on the alley between First and Second Avenues So . , running thence, north to the north terminal of the alley , thence notth along the east . side of the I .O.G.T. property to Millis St - and conected with the server at that point . By constructing. an 8 inch sewer in the said alley and, along the east side of the I .O.G.T . property , and doing; such other work as may be necessary in conection therewith, all. in accordance. with plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer. That all persons who may desire to objedt to the said. imp rovement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council. to be held in the Council Chambers , in the City hall , in the City of Kent , at 8 o ' clock p .m. , on the 2nd . day of April , 1923 , which .time and place is hereby fixed for the hearing of all mat- ters relating to said improvement . The City Clerk is directed to submit to the City Council at , or pri- or to said date , all information and data required by law to be so sub- mitted.
