Bent , Washington , February 5, 1923.
Regular meeting of the Council , held in the Council Chambers , on the
above date; present Mayor Leppert and Councilmen 1urker , Morrill , lladen ,
Thompson and Woodley.
I,2inutes of Jan. 15 , read and approved.
Clerks report for December and the report of the Chief of Police for
monthe of January , read and filed.
Water Com. recomended that a 111 pipe be put in from the No . end of
Prospect across to the No. end of Hazel Street; recomendation adopted
and the pipe ordered put in.
Water Committee recomended that the City purchase a truck and upon of
Councilman Naden a truck, without a starter , was ordered baught.

Comunication from the Sherifs Office reguarding bill for the board of
City prisoners was read and• refered to the City Attorney.
Petition for a fire hydrant at the corner of Second and Cole was read
and upon motion of Councilmen Woodley was refered to the Water Coin. and
the Superintendent for investigation and report .
