Regular meeting of' the Council; present "Llayor Leppert and Councilmen Hallock., M4urker, Naden Thompson and 'Vloodley. Minutes of October 16th. read and approved. Report of the Clerk and the Chief of Police, for the month of Oct., read and filed. Furniture Committee reported having baugiit the furniture 'for the Tdew City Hall, report accepted with thanks. Dedication Committee reported progress and was continued. Upon motion a light was ordered at the creamery corner, Shinn St. ana Test Highway. latter of the obstruction to view, at corner of Titus and Central, refered to Councilman Thompson for irivestigation. Upon mution a notice was orcuered served upon %.r. T. MI. Barn, to abate the saw -dust nuisance at corner of Gowe and Central. Upon motion it was ordered that $5000.00 of the P.R.W. Fund be put into U.S.Goverrunent bonds as an investment. The Council decided, upon motion duly made and seconded, that the City would pay one half of the expense of a Police Officer for two hours on Sunday, until the West Highway is opened. latter of a Flag for the flew City Hall was left in the hands of the Building Committee, with power to act.
