Kent , '4lashin-ton , October 2, 1922.
Regular meeting of, the Council met at 10 o ' clock a.m. , in the coun-
cil Chambers , on the above date and rer�ialned in session all day; pres-
ent LIayor Leppert and Councilmen Hallock, %orrill , Naden & Woodley;
Councilmen Hatt , Murker and Thorn;pson comin6 in later.
Minutes of the meeting of Sept . lb , read Fund approved.
Upon motion and vote of the council a City Hall sign was ordered
placed upo;i the east edd of the New City Hall .
Report of the Health Officer , for the month of September , was read
and riled.
Ordinance No. 508 , fixing tax levy , for the rear 1923 , was read and
upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous
vote of a11. of the Councilmen present .

Upon motion the Hydrant at the High School was defered to such time
as the School Dist . vroul"d be able to help.
"- Chief 'of Police was instructed to notify the saw mill people to
dump no more saw dust inside the City Limits .
O,uesti'on of placing a Hydrant at the Rubber Co. Plant was , upon.
motion po'sponed to some future time .
Bids for Walk and Drain on west Yeeker St . were opened and read as
follows: ' C. R. Dunn $1892.00 and C. C. Wallace $2721 .75i the cont .
was awarded to C.R.Dunn for $1892.00.
Ylatter of changing the Boiler in the 1vew_ CityHall Bldg. wao left
to the Bullding Committee .
