Regular meeting of the Council; present Ylayor Leppert and Council- men Hallock, Hatt , Murker, Thorrill , =laden , Thompson and Woodley. Minutes of the meeting; of July 3 , read and approved. Clerks report for morith of June read and filed. Upon motion a call for bids was ordered to • be published for• lots owned by the City on Scenic Way, rio bid to be for less than -the street assessment on the lots . Upon motion the resignation of the Right Watch was accepted, to take effect the last of tile month. Protest filed by property owners on Central Ave . No. , Dist. iiw. 205 was read; it being signed by more than three fourths of the area in the Dist. further procedure in the matter was stoned and the rids were returned unopened. The restrictions was taken off of sprinkling by the following vote: Councilmen Hatt , Murker, Thompson and Woodley voti-ihg "Aye"-, and coun- cilmen Hallock, Naden and I'lorrill voting "Nay" . Upon the recomendation of the Water Committee and upon motion auly made ana seconded, the Council Went on record as approving ttie action of the City clerk in selling water to the road contractor , on the west highway; at $100.00 per month.
