Kent, Washington, iv,'.ay 5th. 1922.
Special meeting of the Council; present "ayor Leppert and Coun-
cilmen Hatt, Yurker, Morrill, leaden, Thompson and Woodley.
i5.eeting called for the purpose of preparing to move 'to temporary
garters, while new city hall is being built.
Upon motion it decided to build the new hall on the present sight.
A notice was ordered published calling for bids to remove the old
buildings from the City Hall property and clean up the ground nor
the new building.
Finance Committee authorized to investigate the purchase of Yilina
Cabnet at Gamaunt %otor Co. Garage.
Councilman Thompson was aothorized to take care of the mooving
of the fire Aparatus, with the assistance of the Firemen.
The Police and License Committee Chairman and the Chief of Police
were instructed to prepare a tempoary jail.
Upon motion the Clerk was authorized to procure a tempoary Office,
Council Chambers and Store roomo
l,o further business appearing the meeting, upon motion did then
adjurn.
