Petition for the vacation of the sidewalk and alley. between the Over- lock and heitler properties on Scenic V7ay , and also a petition progesting the vacation, . Nvere read, and upon motion it was decided that the alley be not vacated. Comunication from the Womaris Improvement Club, asking the City to 1-lave the streets and vacant lots cleaned up , was read and the same was referea to the health Officer, the Health Corhuittee and- the Chief of Police , with instructions to make a survey and an investigation, with a view to naving the city put in a cleaner and a more sanitary condition. Report of, the Chief of Police for the month of Marc,". was read and filca Upon .,lotion the liiatter of the improvement of VanDe Vanter Avenue and otner streets was groped by the following vote , Councilmen Iialloclt,I-,Iurler, Naden and Thompson Voting "Aye" and Councilmen Hatt ,Morrill and Woodley voting "Nay" .
