Clerks report and the report of the Chief of Police , for the month of
February , read and filed.
Street Com. reported , recoLiending that the City be directed to prepare
a resolution for the improvement of VanDeVanter Avenue for next meeting,
recoruer_dation adopted, by the following vote , Councilmen Fallock , hrurl:er ,
Morrill , Tiaden:,, Thompson and Yloodley voting; "Aye" and Councilman Hatt
voting 'Ilia" .

Ylatter of Vacating So. end of State Street was refered to the Street
Conuiiittee for investigation and report at next meeting.
Ordinance No. 497 , refering to the voters at the next election the
question of bonding the City for not to exceed :$20 ,000.00 , for the pur-
pose of building a new City Hall , vas read and upon motion placed upon its
final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen
present .
Ordinance No. 4-98 , regulating the electrict wiring of buildings and
providing for the issuance of permits therefor , was read and laid over
to next meeting.
A resolution declaring the intention of the City to improve Meeker St .
west of the Interurban, by building sidewalk along the south side , was
read and refered to the St . Committee for investigation and report at
the next meeting.
NMatterof the purchase of two lots by the reservoir was refered to the
Finaneq/ Committee , with power to close the deal at riot to exceed the sum
of $100.00 for the two.
The City Clerk was directed to take up with the N.P.Ry. Co. the matter
of the poor condition of the crossings at Yeeker and Gowe streets.
No further business appearing the meeting, upon motion , did then adjurn.
