Kent , Washington , October 4th. 1920.
Regular meeting of the Council; present Mayor Fulp and Councilmen
Coleman , Gould , Hatt, Madison , Murker and Naden.
Minutes of September 20th. read and approved .
Clerks report for the month of September read and ordered filed.
Upon motion the sidewalk oil Titus Street , between Kenebeck and
Smith r-as ordered repared .
The Chief of Police was ordered to serve notice on property owners
on west side of Naden Avenue to repay r*alks .
Comunication from the Industrial Insurance Commission read and
filed.
Claims read and ordered paid as follows: A reduction of $40.80 ryas
ordered on the P.S.E.Ry.Co. Light bill for the Month of September
. for lights out, during the month.

Ordinance No. 476 , making tax levy for the year 1921 , was read
and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the un-
animous vote of all of the Council present.
Reaolutions Nos. 197-A, 198-A and 199-A were read and adopted
as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 197-A:
IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF K-,NT; That the
let . day of November, 1920 , at the hour of 8 o' clock P.M. , at the Co-
uncil Chamber in the City Hall , at Kent , Washington , Be and the time
is fixed as the time add place for hearing on the assessment roll for
Local Improvement District No . 197XXX for the improvement of Alexan-
der Avenue et al , by grading and graveling.
That the City Clerk be and is directed to publish in the offici-
al newspaper of the City of Kent , notice thereof as required by law
and the ordinances of the said City.
RESOLUTION NO. 198-A:
IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT; That the
let. day of November, 1920 , at the hour of 8 o' clock P.M. , at the Co-
uncil Chambers in the City Hall , at Kent , Washington , be and the same
is fixed as the time and place for hearing on the assessment roll for
Local Improvement District No. 198 , for the improvement of Alexander
Avenue , et al , by grading and graveling.

That the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to publish in the
official newspaper of the City of Kent , notice ' thereof as required by
law and the ordinances of the said City.
RESOLUTION NOi 199-A:
IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KFUTT; That the
lst. day of November, 1920 , at the hour of 8 o' clock P.M. , at the Co-
uncil Chambers in the City Hall , at Kent , Washington , be and the same
is fixed as the time and place for hearing on the assessment roll for
Local Improvement District No. 199 , for the improvement of Alexander
Avenue , et al , by grading and graveling.
That the City Clerk. be and is directed to publish in the offici-
al newspaper if the City of Kent , notice thereof as required by law
and the ordinances of the City of Kent.
Upon motbn the City Attorney was authorized to prespar and present
an ordinance at the next meeting of the City Council amending the
ordinance governing the Pounds and Pound Master.
No. further business appearing the meeting, upon motion did then
adjurn.
