KENT, WASHINGTON, AUGUST 16 , 1920.
Regular meeting of the Council; present Councilmen Asselstine ,
Coleman , Batt , Madison and Paden. Councilman Nadison acting Mayor;
Mayor Fulp coming in later.
Minutes of the meeting of August 2 , read and approved .
Report of the Chief of Police , for the month of July , read and
filed .
CLAIMS READ AND ORDERED PAID AS FOLLOWS:

Mac Boyker Park Upkeep 6 . 10
H. Rice Teaming 28 .70
Heck & Vine Office Supplies 6 .00
J . W, . Cavanaugh & Sons Supplies 3.15
A. E. Hassell Park Upkeep 15 . 50
J . N. Waddell Street Work 16 .50
Upon motion action upon the improvement of Clark, Dean and Other
streets , Dist. 199 , was posponed to next meeting.
Bid of paul Neilson for sidewalk on Prospect Avenue , Dist. 1.98 ,
--as accepted and contract arar.ded to him , he being tree only bidder. .
The Engineer r-,as instructed to furnish estimate for sider•a.lk on
Titus street east and Kennebeck Avenue , for action at next meeting.
Matter of street crossing on Madison Avenue at Y.eeker street v,as
left to the Street Committee rith power to act.
Upon motion the matter of sawdust around the Saboto mill v-as
refered to the Fire Chief , r-ith instructions to elaminate the fire
hazzard if possable .
No further business appearing , the Council , upon motion did then
adjurn.
