Regular meeting of the Council; present Mayor Fulp and Councilmen
Asselstine, Gould, Hatt and Murker.
Minutes of June 21, read and approved.
Clerks report for the meonth of June read and foled.
Upon motion the Clerk was instructed to readvertiser for bids for
lateral sewer, District No. 195.
Comunication from the Public Service Commission read and filed.
Comunication from F. R. Raybuck, relative to damages, read and
refered to the Water Committee and the City Attorney.
Upon Motion the offer of Mr. Lybeck, to furnish the pipe for drain
across the alley back of his place at Fifth & Gore, was accepted.

Concrete crossings were ordered in as follows: One on Russell St.,
One on Morton St., and Two on Winner Street.
Petition to Vacate a portion of Tacoma Street was read the follow-
ing resolution in relation to the s Council read and adopted: on

the petition of L. E. Hayward and others, being the reputed owners of &
at least Two-Thirde of the property abutting on that portion of Tac-
oma Street named in the petition for vacation of that portion of Tac-
ma street in the City of Kent, lying between a street known as Clark
street and an unnamed street runnung north and south between said Claic
street and Dean street in Washington Central Improvement Cole Knob
Hill Addition to Kent, lying between block B and Block 4 of said
Addition; that the said petition be received and that all persons who
may desire to object to the said vacation are hereby notified to file
the same with the City Clerk, or to appear and present such objection
at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall in Kent, at 8 o'clock p.m. on the 2nd. day of Aug.,
1920, which time and place has been fixed for the hearing of all matte
realting to said vacation and all objections thereto.
That the City Clerk is directed to give notice of said hearing
as required by law.
Ordinance No. 466, approving the assessment roll for Local Imp.
District No. 196, was read and upon motion placed upon its final
passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen
present.

Ordinance No 467, providing for the improvement of Prospect St.,
was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried
by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
Upon motion the matter of petioning for a County road along the
pipe line, from the old Calhoun mill sight to Jenkins Prary, was
refered to the Water Committee and the City Engineer.
The Chief of the Fire Dept. and the City Clerk was instructed to
notify the owners of the property in the recent burnt district on
First Avenue, to get busy and clean up, on account of Fire and
health hazzard.
No further busniss appearing, the Councill, upon motion, did
then adjurn.
