Resolution No . 15V.. , providing for the sidewalking of the
east side of Clark Street , was read , aiid upon motion adopt-
ed as follows:
-BE IT RESOLVED , by the City Council 01' rile City of Kent ,
Washington , that it does hereby declare that the public
safety and convenience require that the sidewalk o n the
east side of Clara Street , comeliciI16 at the N .W. corner
of lot 6 , block 2 , of Clarks 21, Addition to Kent , and run-
ning tnence south to a point six feet south of the S.W.
corner of tree said lot 6 , thence corrrencing at the N.W.
corner of lot 2 , block 3 , Clarks 2 " J�dditioil to Kent , run-
+...... ning thence to a point :six feet south of t119 S.W. cornet•
Of lot 6 , block 2 , Clerks 2" Addition to Kent , and on which
the following property immediately abuts , to-brit :

Thy kind of a sidewalk required is a wooden sidewalk as
per standard specifications , as provided in ordinance No .
40 of the City of Kerlt ; the total cost of the s�ime is about
$259.49 , and if the owners of tale property inunediately atmt-
ting thereon shall rie6lect or refuse to construct said side-
walk within twenty days Troia trip service of this notice , the
City shall cause said work to be clone and the cost and exp-
ense thereof shall. be assessed aF,ainst the property abbut-
tin6 the same .

Washington, permitting and authoriziii6 the Carnation Milk
Products Company , the successors of the Pacific Coast Con-
densed bilk Company , to relocate its south switch correct-
ing its plant at Kent , wasrlinbton , with the tracks of the
Northers Pacific R. R. Co . , so as to place the same .further
north , as shown on the blue print Yiereto attached.
BE TT RESOLVED , by the City Council 01' the City of Kent ,
Washington , as follows :
Section 1.

and it is hereby authorized to relocate its south switch ,
conecting its plant at Kent , Washington , with the tracks of
the Northern Paci1'i c 11ai lway C0,11pally , so as t0 remove the
sri.me north in the manner iridic:ated by the blue print here-
to attached and marked exhibit "A" , and made a pert hereof' .

That the permission hereby granted is under the franchise
heretofore granted to the Pacific Coast Corrderised Milk Company
to place its tracks across first Street ; subject to the per-
mission to so relocate said south south track , tale original
franchise is to rnenlairi in full force :grid efl'ect and all rights
herein grantg d ar.. subject of the original franchise. to all of the te;^lus acid conditions
Section 2 .
This resolution is to be in full force and effect
from and after its passabe , signing acid approval , as provided
by law.
Uponi ruotion the colection of the balar!ce of the outstanding
dog licenses was ordered turned over to t i!e Police Jlzdge;
his fees therefor to be 25 � of tiie colectiorls .

Official newspaper of tiie City of Kerit , notice thereof as re-
quired by law and the ordinances of tile said City .
