KENT , WAAHINGi'ON , AUGUST 16 , 1915 .
Regular .meeting of the Council ; present Mayor Hardy and Coun-
cilmen Berlin , Chittenden, Look , Naden and Taylor.
Minutes of July 19 , read and approved.

Clerks , Treasurers and Police Judges reports for the won-
th of July were read and ordered filed.
Comunication read from the Phone Co. asking; that a change
be made in the Police Alarm System; which, upon motion was
ordered done .
Upon motion the local coal dealers were asked to submit
bids for a car of coal delivered In the bin; bids to be sub-
rrdtted to the Finance Committee , who were giv-n power to act .
Claims were read and ordered paid as follows :

Ordinance No. 373 , Approving assessrlLant roll for local
improvQ-merlt district nuitter 145 , was read, and no ob ject-
ings to the assessment having been filed, was placed upon
Its final passage and carried by the. unanimous vote of all
of the Councilmen present .
The rrn.tter of a pipe line to the Horse Shoe Acre Tracts
-- was upon motion refered to the Water Corurdttee , for inves-
tigation.
Upon =tion the salary of the girl in the Clerks Office
was placed at $40.00 per Mo .
Upon motion it was decided by the Council that all dogs.
born on or before the First day of March , of any year , sh-
ould be subject to dog tax for that year.
The City Health Officer was upon motion directed to attend
the Health Officers Convention; the City to pay the e:.pence
of the trip.
No further busyness appering the Council , upon mot ion
did then adjurn.
