Regular meeting of the Council ; present Tvjayor Ii�irdy and
Councilmen Chittenden, Clarkson , 1;ladison , McKenzie , Naden , Roberts
and Taylor.
Minutes of the it,eeting of Jan. 16" were read and approved.
Upon motion the clailu 01' I'Jirs.. Sherrard for three months
water rent was not allowed.
Reports of the Health .Off icer , NI-Tit Marshal , Treasurer
and Clerk for January , and the Clerk 's annual report for 1913
were read and refereA.
Renewal of the bond of the I" 1dati0l,al Bank was presented
and refered to the Flna.11ce coannittee .
Upon in6tion the Drainage Colmuittee was authorized to
drain State Street from Gov+re to Smith ;street and thence to I+,fill
Creek.
The Finance Colil ittee reported on the Cleric 's and Treas—
urer's accounte for the year 1913 , recollmnending the acceptance
Of the same and upon motion the recorniliendation was adopted.
Upon motion the Matter of a signal light for the Police
Department was refered to the Light Co11u1fittee for investigation.
Upon motion the water rent of 1oir . J . A. Youny was (Irdered
paid by the city until further orders.
The Light Committee recolliuended that the light at T,arrison .
and Thoms Streets be not allowed; racoli'mondation was accepted
and the light disallowed.
COMfunication from Churchill and Palmer was read in regard
to the claim of Dr . Bradley. No action was taken.

Ordinance # 359 prohibiting fowls from running at large was
read , placed upon its final passage and carried urianiraously.
Upon motion the City C1erh was directed to ]lotify the
bon-dsruen of the ALez'icari Contracting Co . to repair the pavement .
Upon motion the Clerk was instructed to notify tree Police
to hand in their reports to the Attorney in time to be put in
pre;;entable form for Council.
