Regular meeting of the Council ; present Mayor Bereiter and

Minutes of October 20 were read and approved..
Mr. Mendenhall of the American Contracting Company was pres-
ent and explained to the Council the reasons of the delay in repair-
ing the pavement , and that the same would be repaired at once if'
the Council thought best . The question was refered to the Street
ComiLtIttee and iiiade a special order for next meeting.
The Cleric 's report was read and refered to the Finance CoTi'mi-
ittee. The Iti7arshal reported six dogs that no taxes were paid and
he was instructed to force collection at once.
Claims were read and ordered paid as follows :-

Cormiuni cation from V. B. Rutledge in regard to Deposit for
light service was read and refered to the Light Colijp)ittee.
The Clerk was instructed to notify the C . M. & P . S. Ry. Co .
to raise the walk on Willis St . to grade .
No bids having been received for sidewalk improvement on
Titus Street from State to Kennebeck, Local Improvement District
## I43 , the Council decided upon motion that the same should be.
built by the City and assessed to the abutting property .
The hlltter of the Guiberson Garage being in a dangerous
condition was refered to the Building Committee.
The question of a Street light on Alpine Tay was refered
to the Light Conuuittee.
Having no further business the Council did then Adjourn ,
