Regular meeting of the Council; present Mayor Bereiter and
Councilmen Clarkson, Fulp , McK6nzie and Naden. Councilmen
Hardy and Rasiriussen coit0ing in later .
Records of July 7 11 , read and approved.
Comriunication from the Kent Coimiiercial Club , in regard to
the regulation and use of automobiles on tine streets , was read
and refered to the Street Committee.
Claims were read and ordered paid as follows :
F. A. Richardson sharp saw I.00
State Treasurer Int . on water bonds 575 .00
A. T . Cook Police l). 5 . 70
Parson, Son & Co. Int . on water bonds I4I0.00
Pioneer Binding Co . Cash Book 15 . 00
The matter of a street light on Harrison Street by the green
house was refered to the Light Coimittee.
Upon motion, i ide by Councilman Hardy , seconded by Council—
man Pulp , it was decided to notify the C. M. & P. S. Ry. Co.
that cars nest not be unloaded in the streets. The motion was
carried by the following vote , Councilmen Clarkson, Pulp , Hardy
and McKtnzie voting "Aye, " and Councilmen Naden and Ra,sirlussen
voting "Nay. "
No further business appearing the Council did then adjourn,
