Regular meeting of the Council; present Mayor Bereiter and Coun-
cilmen Clarkson, Pulp , Hardy , McKenzie and Ra.srtussen.
'Minutes of August 411 were read and approved.

The following resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk
to sign the agreement for the laying of sewer across the C . M. &
P. S. Station grounds was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED * by the City Council of the City of Kent_, Washington ,
that the Mayor and City Clerk , be and are hereby authorized and dir-
ected to execute , on behalf of said City , the triplicate originals
of a. certain indenture in writing , now here presented, considered
and approved, whereby the CHICAGO MILWAUKEE & ST._ PAUL RAILWAY
COMPANY and the OREGON-WASHINGTON RAILROAD & NAVIGATION COMPANY
grant unto said City the license to lay a sewer pipe under , along
and across a portion of the station grounds of the Railway Com-
panies at Kent , upon certain conditions; and after such execution
and the execution thereof by the Railway Coitmany , to file one orig-
inal thereof in the office of said City Clerk , and deliver the other
originals thereof to the said Railway Conmanies.
