Clerk ' s report for November was read and refered to the Finance Commi:�tee. Application for Liquor Licenses from Peter Bartel , D. A. Stewart , M. M. Nyhra and J. S.. Price " 75 • EXP• 9 .55 84.55 Upon moti6n the balance due J. E. Hayward on Imp. of Railroad �- Avenua , Dist. # 128 , was ordered paid to M. M. Morrill , an order having been filed by Mr. Hayward' s Attornies to that effect . Ordinance # 329 , authorizing the issue of bonds against Imp . Dist . # I27 , was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried unani mou sly Ordinance # 330 , authorizing the issuance of bonds against Imp. Dist . # I29 , was} read , placed upon its final passage and carried un- animously. Ordinance # 331 authorizing the issuance of bonds against Imp. Dist . # 130 was read , placed upon its final passage and carried unan- imously. Bids for doing the City printing for the corruning year were opened and read as follows: Kent Advertiser , 40y per inch for I" insertion and 20 per inch for each subsequent insertion; W. R. Journal , 3CO per inch for I" insertion and 150 per inch for each subsequent insert- ion. Upon motion the contract was awarded to tree W. E. Journal. Bids were opened and read for sidewalk on 5" Ave. , Dist . # 135 as follows: N. T. Barnes $222.I2 ; H. E. Roessel $ 240. 00; upon motion the contract was awarded to Mr . N. R. Barnes. Upon inotion the Clerk was instructed to equalize the water rate on the two Purcell farms , and settle as though they were but one farm. No bids having been received on the Railroad Ave. sidewalk Imp. , Dist. # 131; and no satisfactOVIE bids having been received on the Cent . Ave. sidewalk , Dist . # 123 , it was upon motion decided to build the said walks at day labor , and assess the cost thereof to the abutting property , as by law provided.
