Regular meeting of the Council ; present Mayor Bereiter and Council- men Boucher, Coble Pulp , Hardy , Harper , Naden and Tucker. Minutes of January 15th. , read and approved. Petition for a large light at the corner of Smith Street and Cent- ral Avenue , was read and upon recommendation- of lthe Light Committee the same was ordered granted. Application of W. A. May for water on the Downey farm south of the river was ordered granted. Clerk 's report for January was read and refered to the Finance Committee. Price 75.00, Exp . 6.65---------------------- 8I.65 Ordinance No. 290, authorising the issuance of Local Improvement Bonds , Local Improvement District No. 121 , was Bead andtipon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present . Ordinance No. 291 , providing for a sanitary method in keeping barns and stables , was read, placed upon its final passage and carried by the following vote: Boucher , Coble, Fulp , Harper , Naden and Tucker voting "aye" , Councilman Hardy voting " nay. " Resolution, setting time for hearing assessment roll in Imp. Dist . No. 122 , read and adopted unanimously. Resolution declaring intention to improve Central Avenue by side- walking the west tide thereof from Titus Street to Meeker Street , read and adopted by the unanimous vote off all of the Councilmen pree- ent. Upon motion the matter of street signs was posponed for the present. The question of fixing the alley crossings by Mr. Corsen's place was refered to the Street Committee. The question of purchasing a cart for the street cleaning dept. was upon motion refered to the Finance Committee . .l X VC 11 Upon motion the question of seeding the streets to blue grass was posponed for the present. The question of building a sidewalk on Railroad Avenue, south Of Willis Street was refered to the Street Committee. Councilman Tucker was appointed a Committee to see that Shinn Street was properly connected to the State Road. Upon motion the Clerk was instructed to notify Mr. Pulp and Mr . Dowe to lower their sidewalk to grade on Scenic Way. Upon motion the Council did then adjourn , s, City Clerk.
