Mr. Street stated that Mr. Porter, Communications Specialist for the King County Sheriff had checked the bids for the city, and recommended that both be rejected, since the Motorola equipment could be purchased at the state bid price of $12 , 082.14.' Tech- nical Products Engineering's price for furnishing the same equip- ment would be $12 , 000 and delivery of their equipment would take 90 days. Parts and service for Motorola equipment are more readily avail- able.
