Motion passed to instruct the Clerk to write a letter to the
Hiway Engineer' s Office and request once more for some control i

unadequate.
Motion passed to place two Mercury-Vapor lights at the curve
south of King Coles to help eliminate the accidents that occur
there.

Licenses. Reynolds Plumbing & Heating; Mac F3oyker Plumbing;
Request read from people on the old Burlingame line , for the
renewal with R 6" line, and to include the Barnhart Addition,

. Letter read from the '.later Resurces Division of the Government
billing the City with jy 725.00 for further surveys on Rock Creek
up to July, 195$ motion passed to continue the survey, and pay
the amount of 4725.00.
Mr. Sherwood stated that 860 of the property was in favor of
the annexation, Motion parsed for the City Attorney to draw
legals for the Annexation of the property.
City Engineer submitted the "estimate on the IID �'21 6 sewer
system, P30, 31.92 that was set fotyrth in Resolution ;,� 375.
Hearing was declared open on the sewer district , one letter
of protest was received., and there ,viere five people protested
the cost, or the benefit. '.'Mayor declared the heari!Lg closed,
Motion passed to not alterate the cost: ortmodify the district
and assesment roll stand as presented. Motion passed to create
the LID sewer District No. 236.
Motion passed to call for bids on LID 236.
Motion passed to issue Bonds on LID 233 and for Mayor & Clerk
to sign sameg for the amount of $21, 229.99.
Mr. Thatcher received from the School Board a strip of land
along the North side of Pioneer for street purposes, which was
the request of the Council.
Pozzi made motion and passed to do wway with diagonal parking
on East Meeker in r:ron of M.E.Chu.rch, and parr. ell parking will
be used.
Motion passed to have the Engineer attend the Works Progress
Meeting in Bellingham.
Councilman Curran requested. Mr. 1,linish of Hill. €c, Ingman to
explain to the council the change order on the Rock Creek
i drilling and pumping, this to be larger hole, and smaller
pumps. Motion passed to have the change order granted and for
the Mayor and Clerk sign same.
Mayor received 1_Ptter from person on East Hill, in re-
gard to tbhe-!filiing eDorby on Sunday , they explained to the 0
Mayor that the children should be in Sunday School at this
time on Sunday.
Councilman Curran made a report on the bids that were received
on the water projects and stated that they were all high, and
over the $700,000.00 bond issue that has been proposed.
Curran announced that there would be a meeting of the Council
at 7;P:M. on June 11, for the discussion on the water bond Fund.
and for clerk to notify all councilman of same.
Motion passed to have the Fire Chief accept .t,1200.00 worth
of fire hose as offered, on the old 1-936 ford fire truck, the
new hose torbe used and needed on the new truck.
