Jac!{ "Ji7_son. Councilman Scott made a report on the progress being made on the lift station and the trunk sewer, and recommended. that the two estimates be paid at this time as submitted by the engineers. Councilman 'Pozzi reported on the additional streets that were to be included in the LID program and instructed the Engineers of same. Notion passed 'to have' T,iayor and Clerk sign two contracts with Hill & Ingman, one for sewers, one for Streets. to work out LIDS. Councilman Parsons presented drawings for a new building for the utilities, for trucks, , material and supplies and office space , this building Lobe at the property owned by the city south of Blue Banner Foods. Notion passed for the City Engineer to proceed with the plans and call for bids. Mr. Thatcher reported on the site for the elevated reservoir. on East Hill, so far the site has' not been located. Motion passed to have the Engineers give Washington Title Insurance report on all pipe line easements. Motion passed for water committee to get rightaway_ for pipe line. Motion passed to lay over for two weekd location for elevated j tank. i Hearing on 233 opened for objections but no objections filed previous to the meeting the Hearing declared closed and forCity Attorney to read the Ordinaee. Motion passed on Ordinance No. 947 to approve and confirm the assesment roll for LID 233. ; City 'treasurer stated by letter that there were no collections in the 30day period on LID 234. Motion passed for the attorney to draw a bond ordinance. Mr. W g�'her of Kent Drugs requested 2 hour parking on the East si e of State Ave. between Ward St. & Smith St. owing to the fact that Seattle employees leave their cars parked all day in this location. Subject placed in the Ijands of the Police committee and` Chief of Police. for study. . Valley Cities meeting announced. Motion passed to release ParX lease on the R.R. property on South R.R.Ave. between Meeker 8,. Gowe. for Parking lot. Letter of request for a concession at the Park on North Central by Jankets Candies was referred to the Park Board. Letter read from Maryan E. Reynolds State Librarian, on the status of our Library. Sherwood City Engineer presented plans of the school walk proposal on Pioneer, meeting was recommended with the Board and` to get more street rightaway, m that Pioneer will be a 60 ft. street from State Ave. to North Central Ave. Councilman Shaffer announced that there would be a meeting next monday evenning with Mr. McKay and also a meeting on so the Urban renewal , al on April 22 there will.� be another c ' meeting on the Urban renewal. Engineer and Street corinittee to meet with the school board on the 60 ft. street,"Pioneer Street" .
