to overhaul the present grader we now have , total bid price

Letter read from the Hil-crest, Cemetary in regard to the
installation of a six .in water pipe , aid a four inch meter
installation for peek periods <_incl for a by pass 3/4" for winter
months, when the sprinkling of the gra:'s i,,; not necessary.

recommended. motion passed to table the motion until the
recommendation has been studied , by the Chief of Police.
Resolution No. 359 read and by motion passed, for *earing

Hearing opened on the final passage of Ordinance Ho. 91_�
for a full paid Engineer, no one objected so the hearing was
declared closed and Ordinance no 918 read on its 2nd. read-
ing and by motion passed the unanimous- vote of the council.
Ordinance No. 919 read and passed by motion for approving
l and accepting various deeds for street purposes.
Motion passed to instruct the clerk to write a letter to
the Ditch Commissioners in reward to cleaning out the ditch
that drains North Park.
Motion passed to remove from the table the matter of parellel
parking on North Fout-th Ave. while loading and unloading.Roll
call vote was taken on the motion and the parrel_lel parking .E
lost by a unanimous vote, except Curran & Shaffer .
Mr. Egan was present an employee of Libbys, he stated that
Libbys would do all they could to free trucks from parking
and blocking 4th. Ave . north.
I'Iotion made to take from table the motion to have the city
attorney wrte I:r. !:ikon t'riat the council attentions were to
remove the water rights and also the protest that the city
had on file. by roll call vote the motion carried the un-
nanamous vote of the council to have the attorney inform
I,Ir. 11ilson of the action of the Council.
Motion passed to expend up to P95.00 plus tax for Drapes
in place in the council room, by roll call vote unanimous.
Councilman Thornton call a meeting with the council and
the police Dept. End civil_ eervice commission for wed. at 8 P.PA'[.
!'Motion passed to have city attorney stet permission to con-
struct a walk along the east side of First Ave. south of Meeker
this strip of ground belongs to the N.P.R.y. Co and is now
used by the city for Parks.
1�lotion passed to have one hour parking signs placed along
East Smith Street on the so. side between R.R.Ave. and State.
Motion passed to instruct the City Engineer to get descrip-
tions of property to extend Winnif r St to the West for a b6ft
rightsaway and to turn over to City Attorney to draw deeds for
same.
I,iotion passed to instruct the clerk to write a letter of
appreciation to Mr. Clark for the fine letter he wrote to
the councilmen and this letter to be placed on file , and
and invitation to iiir. Clark to appear at the next council
meeting for talk on Rock Creek.

Washington to have him contact engineer ; Ir. f' inickey.
Motion passed to call for bids on olui-pment for the office
of the New Engineer; at Such tine the Enyi-neer supplied the
necessary information on his needs.
