Ordinance 166 pasted the unanimous vote of the council
amending Ordinance Ie. 848 relating ;,o motor vehicle traffic

Bids opened and read for the purchase ' of a Garbage disposal
unit , eight bids were received and read. lotion passed to
have the IIealth-Sanitiation Give them study and report for
action at the neat r Zular meeting.
Reeting with Carey A Kramer engineers on the SewageTreat-
ment Plant , to be on Thursday, Nov. 12 , at 7 ;30 P- _4t
the city hall , they have the planns complete for the Plant .
Letter rcAd from the County commissioners in regard to
the improvement of James Street , motion passed to place on
file.
Letter read from Northwest Metal Co in regard to a request
not to issue a. building permit to Clinton Foods, until the
situation of a driveway can be r;orlc,.d out with the two Firms.
iotion passed to instruct the clerk not to issue a permit
until the council has given it t; e OK.
Letter read from the Department of Conservation E Develop-
ment in regard to the cancellation of A permit for a reservoir
site at our headworks near Lake Sawyer. , lotion passed to
instruct the Clerk to unite a letter to the Departme_t , and
request details on the permit and when we made application
! on same , and for the water committee to study the letter:

study and report back' at neat meeting, for the forming of
an -LID sewer district.
Potion passed to have the clerk call_ for bids on a cash
deal Sewer district when all the money is received by the
clerk.
Street committee -reported on the vacation of an alley in
McHillan( s addn. the people had the Understandinq that the
city was going to open up the alley, so if the intention of
the council was not to open the alley the people was not
anxious to have it vacated at this time.
