Regular meeting of the City Council present Mayor 1400ney,
Councilmen, Blessing, Curran, Pozzi, Schultz , Shaffer,
Thornton; Councilman Lamb took his chair at the 'beginni�lg of
new buisness.

Report of officers read and file , police report ;
Motion passed to spend up to 'p500.00 or' the improvment of
the portion of the Cemetary road that is in the City Limits,
and for the County to do the work at the time they are doing
their sh,,.re out of the limits of the ci';y.
City Attorney IIr. ` hatcher reported on the tree cutting along
the road by our water shed, and said that the County Commissioner
I<ir. Sears stated that the City could sell the trees that were
cut , and that they would replace the gate anti fence that ra.�

to sell the trees that the county cut from our water shed.

station, not to exceed 30 ft. on North Central and Smith St.
and for the same kinddof construction be on Smith Street , as
shown on the print that was presentedv for North Central.
Motion passed to have the City Engineer establish sidewalk
grade and drainage on the t'�Te st lde of north Central ro?n
Smith St. to Pioneer St, for future improvments.

I,Iayor Mooney appointed two new members to the Park Hoard to
fill_ the vacancys of i'Ir. ''JalJ_ace I'Ir. Omey, I's'. Albert Baines of
609 Clark Ave . was appointed to fill_ the vacancy of I4r. "Ilallace. ,
and Ir. James Emerson of 438 Clark Ave. was appointed to fill
the vacancy of Pir. Orney, and by motion passed the council oked
the appointments .
I,1Ir. Kennedy was present at the meeting and reques�ed of the

Council to take over the, stater mains up the Black l
where the State is constructing a new three Lane Iliglhwray.
Motion passed to accept and have the franchise signed in the
name of the City , but would not pay any of the replacing cost
or would not accept the main out of the City Limits.
! otion assed to call for bids on a new Util,itiy Billing
Machine to be purchased from the various Funds, `-,rater Garbage
and Sews e .
Iiotion passed for the Street Committee to take up specifi-
cations on various drive-wrays for buisness places in the city.
Letter read from the Pictswreet Co in regard to the Treatment
Plant being under consideration of construction. Motion passed
to instruct the clerk to write a letter of appreciation for
their fine cooperation.
