Regular meeting of the City Council present Mayor ATooney
Councilmen Blessing, Curran, Pozzi, Schultz, Shaffer, Thornton;
Minutes read of the last regular meeting and approved;
Report of Officers read and filed, Treasurers, Clerk' s,
Budget, and annual Fire Report ;
I.iotion passed to place on file the annual fire report and
instruct the clerk to write a letter to the firemen, and
thank them for their good work.
Motion passed to call for bids for the repair of our building
that is being leased by the Blue Banner Foods.
Letter read from the Dook Publishing Co in regard to the
codification of our ordinances for the cost of ; 500.00. Motion
passed to reject the offer at this time.
Petition read from a group of residents requesting the Council
not to appropriate money for a grandstand or playfield on the
Park Property, but instead apply the money to a building.
Motion passed to place on file and notify the Park Board of
the petition.
Ordinance No. 856 expanding the 2nd. .fire zone was read and
by motion passed.
Mr. Noel Bicknell of the P.S.P .8- L. Co i,,Tas in attendance ,and
requested of the Council, if they had any objections to his
Company in running a power line over the underground easment
of our transmission line for water.-lotion passed that their w
were no objections.
