Kent Washington October 20, 1952
Regular meeting of the City Council present layor ProTem
Thornton, Councilman Blessing, Curran, Pozzi, Randall, Schultz;
Minutes read and approved of the last regular meeting;
Report of officers read and filed, Budget Clerkts and
Treasurers;
Motion passed to move from the table , the- letter of the City
Engineer in regard to building topclose to the next door prop-
erty, after several minutes of discussion, a motion was passed
to have a copy of the letter turned over to the planning
commission for final action.
Letter read from the Hayor of Renton inviting the council and
mayor to their aegioal meeting, and dinner in the evening.
Letter read from the planning commission as to their in-
tentions in regard to the zoning ordinance , notion passed to
accept letter and place on file.
Motion- passed to instruct the clerk to call for bids on a
Grand Stand for the Park Board, as soon as specifications were
completed.
Mr. Stoneburner was present and ask several questions of the
council in regard to having some land annexed to the city limits.
Motion was passed to have the water depattment replace the
old water mains in the alley bet„Teen Harrison FL Shinn Sts, be-
tween 2nd. Ave. and 4th. Ave.
