Kent Washington September 2, 1952•
Regular meeting of the City Council present Mayor Mooney,
Councilmen Curran, Schultz, Shaffer, Thornton;
Minutes read and approved of the last regular meeting;
Report of officers read and filed, police report ;
Motion passed to have the street dept , clear the walk way
of brush at Scenic Way,and also on 5th,Ave. South. and the
Water crew clean up the property around the small reservoir.
Motion passed to have the have city attorney draw ordinance
setting the salary of the Treasurer, before he* filed for the
next term of office.
Motion passed to have the water committee study ,rater rates
and have the power to instruct the attorney to draw ordinance
for same.
Motion passed to have the street crew fix the sidewalk in
front of the water shed on R.R.Ave. So.
Motion passed to instruct the Clerk to write a letter to the
Northern Pacific R.R.Co in regard to blocking the crossings
for a longer period that five minutes at a time.
