Regular meeting of the City Council present Mayor Thornton
pro tem, .Councilmen Blessing, Curran, Pozzi, Schultz, Shaffer,
Minutes read of the last regular meeting and approved;
Report of officers read and filed, Treasurers, Clerks, and
Budget ;
Ordinance No. 850 passed the unanimous vote of the council
present to, place on the ballot , wheather or not the people
wish to vote a "$125,000.00 bond issue for the construction
of a civic center building on the city owned property on
North Central Ave. galling for a special election to be
held on November 4th. 1952.
Street committee recommended that the question on the
vacation of Clark St.. in W.C.I.Cols Knob Hill Rdn. be
submitted to the Planning commission before further action
be taken.
Mr. & Mrs. Achor appeared before the council with a
complaint of poor water service at thier home on East Hill,
and requested of the council to give them some relief.
Motion passed to _give Mr. Hardy permmission to remove
the fence that is not in use on the north line of the North
East Hill reservoir.
Mr. Rod water Supt. recommended to the council the
purchase of a new meter top, that would cut down on the
upkeep of meters that are now in use. Motion passed to
have Mr. -Rod purchase 100 tops for a trial.
