Regular meeting of the City Council present T-layor Mooney
- Counc:hlmen Blessing, Pozzi, Schults, Shaffer, Thornton;
Minutes read of the last regular meeting and approved;
Report of the police dept. read and filed;
Discussion of restrictions on sprinkling, lawns during the peak
season, it was agreed that a notice should be placed in the
paper asking the residents to curtail on the water.
Petition read and filed for the vacation of Clark Street in
W.C.I.Cots Knob Hill Addition, Tdotion passed to place in the
hands of the street committee for study, and report at the
next regular meeting.
Committee from South Central Ave. requesting of the council
to have their street oiled, the council stated that they would
furnish gravel and grader, and would pay for the intersections
and alley insections.
Mr. Hardy- from Summit Ave. appeared before the council with
the request of having the North Fence on the North East Hill
Reservoir removed, because it was very unsightly, and not
needed for the protection of the reservoir.Request was referred
too Thornton Schultz and Blessing, for a report back at the
next regular meeting.
1,1otion was passed to have a drinking _fountain installed in
the ments toilet on the first floor.
Motion passed to instruct the Fire Chief to attend the
International Fire -Chief' s Convention at Boston Mass. -with
expenses paid.
