Regular meeting of the city council present Mayor Mooney Councilmen Blessing, Curran, Pozzi, Randall, Schultz, Shaffer, Thornton; 1,1inutes read of the last meetiT and approved; Report of Officers read and filed, Clerk' s Treasurers and Budget; Curran reported that Mr. Hardy that lives just North of the East Hill Reservoir, would like to have the old fence removed that was no longer used , wich is the boundry line of the city property on the north. no action was taken by the council. Petitions were received from voters of the city, with 372 names thereon, requesting of the council to call for an election to vote a 125,000.00 General Obligation Bond issue , for the a civic center, to be construction of a building to be used for placed on now owned city property at North Central. Motion passed to accept the request of the petitioners, and call for abaplotaland election instruct pheccity the aptoPneyttondbawore thethe people by , proper ordinance for such a bond issue. Resolution No. 328 Passed the vote of the council to renew a street lighting contract for five years. Motion passed to have the various committees study the rent of equipment , and report at next meeting.
