Letter read from the superintendent of schools asking the council to reduce the charge for se,,ver outlets for the new dchool on the hill_. The letter was placed in the hands of the sewer committee for further study. Bids were opened and read for the lett-i_ng' of a gasoline contract to furnish gasoline to the city for for their equip- ment . Two bids received T(',-,T Oil Service , and Standard Oil Co. the bid was awarded to the Tc',_-. ' Uil Service. Delegation from the Thomas water District was present , and requested the purchase of a tract of land owned by the City for obtaining tirater , .
