Mr. Walker a member of the Chamber of Commerce requested of the city council permmission to hang decorations on the Street light standards for christmas holidays. Motion passed yo grant the committee from the chamber of commerce their request/ Motion passed to instruct the chairman of the Health-and SanitLation committee to have a conference with the garbage collector and instruct him that lie has to give better service if he is to retain the contract. Motion passed to aquire an extension on the water rights at Rock Creek, the Attorney was instructed to fill out all neccesary papers. City Engineer submitted the final oI-, on the LID 229 sewers, and stated that it was complete , Motion passed to place in the hands of the Health- and 'Sanitation committee for study and re- port at the next regular meeting. Request of Hi-School, out side the city limits, to have our grader do some work for them on their drive ways, after some discussion a motion was passed That the use of City equipment outside of city limits, on a rental basis, to other municipal corporations, at the descrition of the appropriate council committees, provided insurance coverage is not imparied, is hereby authorized. Motion passed to remove two trees in T,Iorth Park Addn. on 3rd. Ave. at a cost of .i25.00. ITotion passed to instruct the Clerk to 'write a letter each to the Lyons Club, and hewanis for the fine job they did on IIawolleen, as to intertainment for the kids. T,Totion passed to authorize the clerk to purchase an adding machine for the clerk' s office , for the sum of ''150.00. I•lotion passed to instruct the clerk to call for bids on a gasoline contract.
