Regular meeting of the City Council present Mayor ITooney,
Councilman Adams, Blessing, Pozzi , Randall , Schultz, Thornton;
liinutes read and approved of the last regular meeting;
Report of officers read and filed, 'Treasurers, Clerkts, and
Budget ;
Motion was passed to instruct the clerk to write a letter to
Wes. Broom supervisor of State Highways, in regard to the
condition of West Meeker Street. , and requesting him to attend
the next regular meeting of the City Council.
Orldinance No. 842 passed the unanimous vote of the council,
raising the connection charge for water service, from ";'25.00
to �'a 37.50.
Garbage bids were opened and read, bidders were , C.V.Erath
.440 per can; Jas. Gotti, .55� per cani C C> E Disposal.31¢ per
can; and John Hauge .39¢ per. can. after full consideration of
all the bids, the council awarded the bid to John Hauge , by
unanimous vote of the council present.
Louis Deal of East Smith Street reported to the council that
he was having trouble with his septic tank, and he would like
permission to connect to the city sewer system,, also John
Anderson made the same request. Motion passed by the council
to grant the requests, and instructed them that the request was
granted, and the work be done under the supervision of the
city engineer, and all costs be paid by the property owners,
and after completion and accepted by the city, this sewer would
become a part of the City sewer system.
