Report of officers read and approved treasurers report ;
Letter read from E.E.Pliller requesting of the Council the
changing the name of Seattle Street, to Northern View Drive,
Notion passed to place in the hands of Planning; Commission
for further action.
Ordinance # 839 passed the unanimous vote of the council
o regulating traffic on Shinn Street at intersections at First
Ave. North and Sixth Ave.
I•Iotion passed to have the Street Committee make a complete
OLLsurvey of all streets that need street signs.
Water power pumping contract from ". S.P. c.L.CO by motion
oz passed to instruct the Mayor E, Clerk to sign same.
02 Motion passed to have cards mailed out for the meeting of
Washington Cities Meeting and dinner at bent , October 19,
1951.
Mayor requested the council to attend a joint meeting in
the city hall with the Planning Commission, the school Board
and King County Authorities on August 28th. 8: P.M.
Mayor appointed Alfred Johnson on the Police Civil Service
Commission, to take the place of IIr. Kelleher who has resigned.
Motion passed for the street committee to check all cracks
in pavement , and get estimate of cost for taring and report
at next meeting.
Water committee to get all information on Rock Creek at
Olympia, for water rights at that sources and find out
purchase price of land ozr;rned by N.P.R.CO.
City Engineer reported that sewer connections to LID229
should not be permitted until a latter date.
