Regular meeting of the city council present , Mayor Mooney
Councilmen Adams, Blessing, Schultz, Shaffer, Thornton;
Minutes read of the last regular meeting and approved;
Report of officers read and filed, Clerk' s Treasurers, and
Budget ;
Mons Rod reported to the council that , that the water supply
was getting a little low at peak periods, and the council
should make a request that the people use less water for
sprinkling, if they did not cooperate more drastic action
should be taken.
Letter read from the Highway Department engineers in re-
gard to the four way stop at west meeker, and the dangerous
curve condition at North City Limits on Central.Motion
passed to instruct the clerk to write a letter to 14r.Forgey
District Engineer, and thank him for his kind cooperation.
Letter read form the election dept. stating that our bill-
ing for the election of the city was correct.
Letter read from Mr. Iles Business Manager of Dist. ;' 415
in regard . to the sewer extension from the new school.
Request from Mr. Knudston living at Kennebeck Ave. for
permission to connect to the sewer on Appine Way. Motion
passed to grant the request under supervision of the City
Engineer.
Motion passed to have the City Engineer and Health Officer
inspect the condition of a septic tank at 713 North Second
Ave, , and others that are in violation.
Re uest from Mr. Wells on Temperance Street to connect to
the Sewer 804 Temperance , by motion request granted, with
supervision of the City Engineer. -
Motion passed to instruct the clerk to send letters to
our Senators in Washington, to encourage them to give all
out surport on the construction of power damms in the North-
west,
Motion passed to increase the rent of the lot used by the
water dept , five dollars per month, this was the request of
the owner.
