I,linutes read and approved of the last regular meeting; Report -of officers read and filed, police ; Rlotion-passed to instruct the clerk to write a letter to the State Highway Engineers in regard to their survey on the four -bray stop signal on',,,lest I-Ieeker & hlashington Ave. and also the dangerous curve condition on Central Ave. North at city limits. Motion passed to have all zones for parking of applicants remain unchanged, Taxi zone, Police Zone, P.S.P.8,.L.CO, and Bush Hardware. Motion passed to have the clerk write a letter to the District 415 -School Board in regard to the school sewer. Motion passed to instruct the Engineer to have the new LID 229 sewer connect into the sewer line on the south side of Smith Stree instead of the small line on the North side, after consulting the City Attorney. Motion passed to instruct the clerk to write a letter to the Company that we purchased the street signs from in regard to the misspelling of Scenic day for replacement. . Motion passed to instruct the water committee to purchase more pipe if needed to complete the pipe laying contract, up to five hundred dollars. Motion for water committee to arrange to purchase a pump for the new well. Motion passed to instruct the clerk to write a letter to Walter K. Schmidt Pastor of the Alliance Gospel. Church, in appreciation for the nice letter he wrote to the Mayor and Council. Motion passed to permit the Cornupcopia committee to erect a reviewing stand on the sidewalk at First And Meeker, for ~ the parade on July 14th.
