Kent Washington October 17, 1949.
Regular meeting of the city council present Mayor Mooney,
Councilmen, Armstrong, Pozzi , Randall, Seeman, Shaffer, Thornton,
VanBevers.
Minutes read and approved of the last previous meeting;
Officers reports read and filed, Budget Treasurers, and Clerks.
Motion passed that city hall shall not be used for meetings,
Commerical, Political , and religious.
Bill of damages presented to the council , for the turning off
of the water without notice, and the coils of the stove was
burned out at 508 North Central . Motion passed to present this
bill too Critcher & Raber the contractor on the job,- that had
the water turned off without notice to the property owners.
Recommendation of the City Engineer to accept * R.L.Moss & Co
contract as final. Motion passed to accept the recommendation
of the engineer, on the LID sewer contract in North Park.
Motion was passed to purchase the street cleaner a white rain
coat and hat , for his protection on the streets.
Motion was passed to have the Health committee act on the purchase
of waste paper cans for North Central Ave .
