Regular meeting of the City Council present, Mayor Mooney, Councilmen Armstrong, Edline , Morrill, Seeman, Sells, Thornton Z Worth. Minutes read and approved of the last regular meeting; o< Officers report read and filed, police report ; LL Councilman Armstrong reported that one of the sewer district af 4I oLL petitions was completed. g° Resignation from Mr. Forbes our City engineer, was read and U accepted by the Mayor and Council. U� Request from the A& P. Store to have a permit to burn in a;i incenerator the excess papers, and not garbage, was referred to the Fire Chief and Fire Committee for action. Councilman Seeman made a motion and passed to reject all bids on the police car, and recomended that the present car be over- hauled, and placed in first class shape. ' Motion passed to instruct the clerk to call for bids on crushed rock to improve the streets. A Motion passed to call for bids for labor on the LID sewer pro- ject # 228 in North Park Add. and for the City Engineer to get out specs for same. Motion passed to instruct the "Clerk to call for bids on a sewer cleaning machine. Motion passed to instruct the Clerk to write a letter to the Commissioner of Drainage Ditch # one requesting them to have the ditch cleaned out within the City Limits. Motion passed to instruct the Clerk to call for bids to have the roof on the North East Hill reservoir replaced. Motion passed to have the Clerk call for bids for 5000 ft. of Copper Tubing for the water system. Motion was passed to have the water crew lay 600ft. of water mains on Seattle & Alexander Streets. Rod informed the council that the two main line meters were installed. Motion wag passed to have the Clerk write a letter to Mr. Ruble of the Telephone Co inregard to the poor service we are getting in this locality.
