Kent Washington January 17,1949.
Regular meeting of the City Council present , Mayor Mooney.,
Councilmam Armstrong, Morrill, Seeman, Sells, Thornton.
Minutes read and approved of the last regular meeting;
Report of officers read and filed, Budget Treasures, and Clerks;
Resolution read and adopted, to request the legislature to
pass and act in regard to the loaning of monies to Cities with-
out interest.No. 301.
An ordinance # 805 passed the unanimous vote of the council
present to ' repeal Section 9 of Ordinance No. 686.
An ordinance # 806 passed the unanimous vote of the council
present to repeal Sub-paragraph 3 of Section 3 of ordinance No.
258, as recommended by the last State Auditor.
Councilman Seeman that the Theater manager was ready to install
bicycle racks at the local theater to take care of the mass of
bikes that cluttered up the walks.
Councilman Armstrong brought to the attention of the council
that a larger addressograph machine for the Clerk' s office was
needed,Motion was passed to place the matter in the hands of
the finance committee for study.
A bid form was presented by council Morrill that the Water
District at Bellevue had a about one thousand ft . of 6" pipe
for sale, Motion passed to place the bid form in the hands of
the water committee for study and action.
