Regular meeting of the City Council present, Mayor Mooney
Councilmen, Armstrong, Seeman, Sells, Thornton, Worth.
Minutes read and approved for the last regular meeting.
Report of Officers read and filed: ; police report.
Letter read from the School District in regard to the
sewage system on James St. and also the sidewalk condition at
the Elementary School, and requesting more storm drains at the
latter loacation. Refered to the Drainage and 3reet Committees.
J Letter read from a committee sponsoring an ActRelating
to loans to cities for Sewage, water and drainage, and creating
a State Revolving Fund, to borrow monies at no interest rate ,
and asking the Cities to pass a resolution in the favor their of.
Motion passed to have the clerk draw up a resolution, and
mailtiro copies. to the secretary of the Committee.
The annual report of the police Dept . read and placed on
file, .
Motion was passed for the finance committee to check on
the various insurance poli!#es on the City Buildings.
Motion was passed to have the City Attorney repeal that p
part or all of the ordinance creating a $50.00 a year license
on theatres.
