Kent Washington November L, 1948.
Regular meeting of the City Council present, Mayor Mooney,
Councilmen. Armstrong, Morrill, Seeman, Sells, Thornton, .
Minutes read and approved for the last previous meeting. ;
Report of officers read and filed, police report;
Councilman Seeman reported to the Council that the police
committee had a. meeting in regard to the parking violations,
and recommended that the Police chief be instructed to enforce
the parking time, limits.
Letter from the Chicago Milwaukee Railway CO.Trequesting the
signed agreements on the spur track, Motion passed to place,
same on file.
Ordinance read on the control of minors playing pin-ball
machines, Motion passed to return it to the Attorney for
revision, and be presented.iat the next meeting.
ResvIfition read and passed the unanimous vote of the council
present to invest monies from the S 200,000.00 bond issue of the
Water Dept. until such time as needed, owing to the fact that
material is so slow on delivery.# 299.
Mayor recommended to the Council that they should- pass
ordinances for more revenue for the City, Punch Boards, Music
Boxes, and sound equipment.Motion passed to have this matter
referred to the Finance & Police Committees for study.
