Regular meeting of the City Council present , Mayor Dunbar,
Councilmen, Edline , Farman, Sells, Thompson.
Minutes read and approved except,recess of last meeting for
discussion of the City Hall rebuilding program.
Report of Officers read and filed Police Report.
Request of a group of people living by the Rainier Fickle Plant
on ','hest Shinn St. for them to discontinue to drain their waste
water down the street. Motion was passed to have the Health Officer
investigate this condition.
Request of a group of people on ''lest Shinn to have the City bear
the expense of oiling their street ,owing to the fact that there is
such heavy traffic thereon. Motion passed to have the street comm-
ittee investigate the condition of this street .
Letter received from the State in regard to the offer made by
the City for the purchase of the Cannery building ,that is now on
City property.
Resolution passed the unanimous vote of the council present , to
purchase the State Cannery building for the Sum of $ 7500 .00 ,and
the Mayor and Clerk to draw a warrent for same . Resolution 280
is a part of the minutes of this meeting.
Motion was passed to have the City Attorney draw up an Emergency
Ordinance to cover the amount of money that is required to purchase
the Cannery Bldg.

constructed.Motion was passed to have the City Attorney draw up an
agreement of a party wall , between the IOOF Lodge and the City.
Letter read from the Prosecuting ,Attorney of King County in re-
gard to the punch board licenses issued by Cities , that they were
no protection to the persons taking out the license ,and that the
Sheriff is starting a clean up program on such punch boards.

read , and by motion adopted as read by the unanimous vote of the

Park,and the progress made in the maping out of the drainage ditch
on So.Central , .also the progres s on the sewage treatment plant ,
presented the final plans for approval.
Motion was passed to direct the Clerk to call for bids on the
L.I.D. # 228 sewage system for North Patk, the connecting sewer to
be constructed from Winner St. across Ramsey ' s pasture to Shinn St
to join the main trunk,and the New Fire Station and remodling the
present City Hall.and the Council by motion approved the final
plans for the Fire S*ttion and Remodeling the City Hall.
