Regular meeting of the City Council ,present h1eyor Dunbar ,
Councilmen, Edline-,Morrill ,Sells ,Shoff,Thompson,'FJorth.
Minutes of November 4, read and approved ;
Officer' s reports read and filed ,Treasurers ,Clerks ,and Budget.
Elotion was passed to instruct the clerk to write a letter to
Mr. F.W.Mortensen in regard to letting his shrubs grow out over
the street ,one to Mr. Napier the owarrof the Shirly Apts on `.hest
Meeker St ,to trimm his shrubs that hang out over the walk,and one
to the Rai.mer Food Co at Shinn St . and Washington Ave . to remove
a loading platform that is constructed in the street.
Motion was passed to instruct the clerk to call for bids on water
pipe for the North Dark Job and other projects that are contemp16)tdd

owing to the: fact that material is not evelable for nearly 12
months.
Motion wag passed for the Attorney to draw and emerg6ney
Ordinance to cover the over drawn items in the water budget .
Ordinance # 775 passed the unanimous vote of the council
creating new water rates in the higher breckets,for industrial
users.
' Ordinance No. 776 passed the unanimous vote of the council
fixing the City Attorney' s salary at 6v 75.00 per month ,starting
the firdt monday in June 1947.
T:,'otion was passed for the building committee to investigate
a' 100% co-insurance policy on the furniture and fixtures in the
City Hall,with power to act.
- Motion was passed for a cross over on North Central be granted
to Mr. Tv,ichelsen,work to be done under the supervision of the
City Engineer.
The matter of a main line meter was placed in the hands of the
water committee for further study ,and to report at the next meet-
ing.
Motion was passed to place the matter of a cross-walk signal
or painted strip at West Meeker St. opposite the Kent Show in
the hands of the police committee for action.
