Minutes of October 7 , read and approved ;
Report of Officers read and filed , Clerk ' s Treasurers and Budget.
Ordinance # 770 passed the unanimous vote of the Council present
providing for a Local Improvement District #f 228 for the con-
struction of a sewer system and pumping plant in North Park Add.
to Kent ,and encluding a strip of land laying west of Same.
Petition received from property owners on North Prospect Ave .
requesting the Council to have the engineer give and estimate of
cost for the construction of a lateral sewer.Tviotion was passed to
instruct the engineer to give an estimate on the cost of the
proposed sewer.
Motion was passed to set the rate of rental of the City Grader
with man to operate it at $7.00 per minimmm,and � 7.00 per hour.
Motion was passed to instruct the Clerk to write a letter to
Dr. Samuals of Seattle",in regard to a very leaky canopy on his
building.
Motion was passed to instruct the Clerk to write e letter to
the Kent Motors in regard to oil seeping out on the walk,and
causing it to be very slippery.
