Regular meeting of, the City Council ,present Mayor Dunbar,Council-
men,Edline Farman Sells Thompson .
Minutes of August 19 ,1946 read and approved;
Report of Officers read and filed ;
Councilman Farman reported to the Council that there was a car
soon available for the Police Dept. ,and recommended that a call for
bids be advertized.Notion was passed for the clerk to call for bids
for a Sedan Delivery for the Police Dept.
Ordinance # 768 read and passed the unanimous vote of the Council
present.
• Ordinance # 769 read and passed the unanimous vote of the Council
present.
' Hearing on the proposed North Park Sewer Dist.quite a discussion
from ttie property owners in regard to the amount of the assessment
that would fall: on them,but no objections were raised against the
District,so a motion was passed by the unanimous vote of the council
present to instruct the attorney to go ahead with an ordinance creat-
ing an L.I.D. for the installation of a sewer system in North Park.
The Engineering submitted a plat for Mr. Mickelson known as the
Sunnyside Addition to Kent,Motion was passed to hold a hearing at the
next regular meeting, and post notices according to law.
The Engineer submitted a plat for Mr. 4 Mrs. E.E.Miller,known as
Millers Northern View 2nd. Addition to Kent,Motion was passed by the
unanimous vote of the Council present to set the hearing at the next
regular meeting and post notices according to law.
